🥨 Merge customers

Merge duplicated profiles in a snap, and track down any change via the activity history

FEATURE
Merge customers

Duplicated customers? Merge them in a couple of clicks.

This is one of the must have features many of you have been waiting for…

Managing customer information efficiently is crucial. With many touch points and interactions, it's easy for duplicate entries to clutter your CRM, leading to confusion and inefficiencies.

We’re happy to announce that Sponsy built-in CRM now allows you to easily merge duplicate customers, ensuring your data is always clean, accurate, and up-to-date 🙌

How it works is pretty straightforward:

  • select the profiles to merge;

  • select the “winner“ profile, the one you’d like to keep;

  • confirm your choice and here you go, valuable information such as booked ads are now merged into a single customer profile.

Thanks to Keith from Rough Draft Atlanta for the feature request, you’ve been so patient with us about this! 🙏

FEATURE
Customer activity

Browse past updates on any customer profile.

Tracking changes to data is fundamental to troubleshoot anything that could pop up. Indeed, the ad slot activity is one of the most loved features of Sponsy —ah! try doing that in spreadsheets 😜

Why not adding the same superpowers to the customer profile too?

And here we are, now every change is tracked enabling you to drill down - and revert if necessary - any past change.

Every update on the customer profile is logged in the activity tab.

Please note that this update is not retroactive, and customer changes will be tracked from now forward on all customer profiles.

Huge shout-out to Daniel from TLDR for the feature request 🏆
