💣 Pull your ad from Sponsy to Kit
Have you heard about the Kit App Store?
It’s one of the latest additions in Kit (formerly ConvertKit)—think of it as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store but designed for newsletters!
Each app unlocks a unique superpower: from pulling in testimonials to speeding up content creation based on past issues. Naturally, we couldn’t miss out on the fun, so we’re thrilled to introduce the Sponsy App, powered by the Kit App Store! 💥
So, what does it do?
Simple but powerful:
Store your ads in Sponsy, just like you normally would.
In your Kit editor, pull in a specific ad directly from Sponsy into your newsletter.
No more repetitive copy-pasting, back-and-forth between editors, or risky slip-ups like inserting the wrong ad! 😅
Just select your desired placement and date, and Sponsy will place the ad directly in your newsletter.
Pretty slick eh?
And you’re always in control of how your ad shows. Open the Ad Blocks editor in Sponsy, add your HTML template, and specify the fields you use—just type $
to see the full list. Then you’re all set.
If you’re on Kit, give this a try! You’re going to love it. 💫
Huge thanks to Scott Mitchell & Nathan for giving us early access to this game-changer and helping us get set up ❤️

🛠️ Automation Filters
Sponsy’s Automations are a game changer for Media Companies.
Tired of repeating the same tasks over and over?
Email advertisers to gather assets
Update ad status to “Ready” once the advertiser approves
Remove “On hold” unpaid ads that have lingered too long in your inventory
Send campaign reports after the campaign ends
Sponsy’s powerful automation editor takes all these tasks off your plate. Set it up once, and let it run indefinitely. Just a few minutes of setup can save you hours every day.
With our latest update, Automations are even more powerful! You can now add filters to handle complex scenarios. For example, if you manage both newsletter and social media placements, filters let you trigger an alert to your social media manager only when social ads are ready. 💡
The possibilities are endless. We can’t wait to see the automations you create!
Deserved shout-out goes to Jessica from Overstory Media Group for the feature request! 🙏
