🏦 Better Storefront, Smoother Deals
We’ve rolled out a bunch of updates to give you more control over how deals flow into Sponsy—and how they’re created from your storefronts.
Whether you're managing everything hands-on or letting advertisers submit requests directly, these improvements are all about saving time and making things easier to manage.
Here’s what’s new 👇
👥 Default Storefront Customer – Skip the form and auto-assign a default customer to new orders.
🔗 Link to Existing Deals – Attach storefront orders to existing deals to keep campaigns organized.
⚙️ Default Deal & Slot Status – Control where new deals land in your workflow from the start.
📆 Limit Calendar Dates – Exactly define the available booking window.
💸 Hide Storefront Prices – Keep pricing flexible by removing prices from view.
🧠Ad Placement Helper – Add helpful context when picking placements.
Let’s dive in!
👥 Default Storefront Customer
In Sponsy, you can create as many storefronts as you like. Public ones on your website, private ones for select advertisers, last-minute deals to sell remnant inventory—you name it.
One especially powerful use case? Advertiser-specific storefronts. This lets you keep a white-glove approach while streamlining the process. Here’s what you can do:
Select only a few available dates (e.g. just Mondays for the next month)
Customize the copy to make your advertiser feel at home
Tailor prices and create custom packages
Add the storefront to their customer portal for easy renewals—provide assets for upcoming placements while they buy the next batch. Chef’s kiss 🤌
How to do it:
Create a storefront, then set a default customer in the settings. You can also assign it directly in the CRM.

đź”— Link orders to existing deals
By default, storefront orders create new deals in Sponsy.
But sometimes, you want to connect that order to an existing deal—for example, when a deal already exists from your connected CRM (like HubSpot), and you’re just using the storefront to let the advertiser pick available dates.
Now you can do exactly that: link storefront orders to existing deals to keep everything tidy. Simply select the existing deal when approving the order.

⚙️ Default Deal and Slot status
When an order gets approved, Sponsy creates a new deal and slots in your ad calendar. Previously, you'd manually update their status—now, you can set default statuses right in the storefront settings. You can still update the statuses when approving the order of course.
Less clicking. Less chance of mistakes. Smoother workflows.

📆 Limit Calendar Dates
Take full control over what placements show up and when.
Allow booking after: Set a buffer before advertisers can book (e.g. only after July 20 or +5 working days).
Allow bookings until: Set a hard stop on how far in advance advertisers can book.
Custom dates: Offer super-specific availability like only December 24–26 for holiday campaigns.

Use this to build urgency and exclusivity. For example, a Black Friday Special storefront could only allow bookings on November 24.
đź’¸ Hide Storefront prices
Want to gauge interest before finalizing pricing? Or prefer to discuss pricing 1:1?
Just set the price to 0
in your placement or bundle configuration, and Sponsy will hide prices during checkout. No awkward zeros shown to advertisers—just smooth, flexible workflows.

🧠Ad Placement Helper
You might already have useful instructions in your placement settings.

Now you can reuse them directly in the storefront! Enable the Show placement intro option in your storefront settings, and the instructions will show up right above the asset upload form—so advertisers know exactly what’s needed during checkout.

Ready to level up your Storefront?
These sweet updates give you the flexibility to run storefront ad sales your way. It’s your turn—what will you build?
Big shoutout to the folks who helped shape this release with their feedback:

⏪ Unbook slots in Deals
Plans change. Campaigns get postponed. And when a deal already has slots booked in the ad calendar, things can get a little tricky.
Sure, you could reschedule each slot manually—but if the deal has dozens of them? Not ideal.
Now there’s a faster way: Unbook.
Here’s how it works:
Select the deal slots you want to unbook, then hit Unbook in the top right.

This converts those slots back into undated items, so you can clear your calendar, free up inventory, and easily reschedule when the time is right.
Big thanks to Casey from Perth is OK! for the feature request 🙌
